Maya Terrain Tutorial

Hello again Class,

So I used this pretty nice tutorial for making the landscape in my latest playblast for assignment 3. This tutorial has a pretty good layout for making a nice CG nature landscape and the link can be found here:

The only gripe I have with this tutorial is that he never actually tells you where some of the tools are to accomplish some of the tasks, so you kind of have to look around for them. For reference, some pointers to add: In order to do a smooth mentioned on page 1, just go to the Polygon>Smooth(Maya 7), or its under Mesh>Smooth(Maya 8). The 3d paint tool can be accessed by going to the rendering menu and then going to Texturing>3d Paint tool. The tutorial shows you how to set up some clouds, fog, trees, grass and land. It really is quite helpful to set things for an outdoor scene.
